The Salzburg State Theatre is the leading company for performing arts in Salzburg with a widely acclaimed international reputation. The theatre is home to Dramatic and Musical Theatre, Opera, Dance and Theatre for Young Audiences – four vivacious and distinguished companies working together for a vision of artistic excellence.
The theatre provides an important and indispensable cultural service tothe city and the state of Salzburg. It performs consistently contemporary and classical works – inspired by an artistic awareness of the 21st century, creating diverse education activities and developing exceptional talent. The main auditorium has 695 seats, with additional venues including a Studio Stage, the Festival Theatres, Stage 24 at the Marionette Theatre and the Aigen Rehearsal Center. The Salzburg State Theatre presents about 25 new productions and a total of 400 performances per season with a resident staffof 280 persons.

Theatre production workshops and event production
Everything visible on stage is created in the workshops of the Salzburger Landestheater. The workshops offer a variety of professions, such as carpentry, metalworking, painting, sculpture, tailoring, millinery, and wardrobe. The event technology team handles stage technology, lighting, video/acoustics, props, makeup, costume, cleaning, and building maintenance. The following positions are currently open:

Stage Technician specialising in Truck Driving
Front of house & guest service
