LET’S EXPLORE THE WORLD OF THEATRE TOGETHER!

 

YOUNG ACTORS’ CLUB ACT OUT

ages 12 to 18

When the curtain rises, you can feel your heart beat and all your senses are alert. Experience the thrill of being on stage, enter strange worlds made up of language and movement and find out how theatre can change who you are! With the young actors’ club, you can explore the realm of performing arts and discover the many possibilities of theatre in new ways. In our weekly sessions, we rehearse a play, take a look behind the scenes, learn more about the structures and operations of a theatre and attend performances. In the spring of 2027, you will then perform the rehearsed play as actors on stage. Join us now and apply for the casting held in the autumn of 2026!

THEATRE LAB STAGE BOOST

for all theatre enthusiasts

STAGE BOOST offers an intense, six-week foray into the exciting theatre world. Once a week, we will spend several hours rehearsing together, experimenting and testing different approaches. We will develop new ideas, write texts, work with our bodies and explore scenes until we arrive at an individual artistic presentation. The results of our time together will be presented on one of the stages of the Salzburg State Theatre. STAGE BOOST stands for focused efforts, creative energy and joint theatre work – compact, powerful and with real stage moments. Going to the theatre means more than just attending a performance – it is an opportunity for encounters, exchanges and discoveries. Together we will attend a performance and will discuss it with experts in workshop settings, thereby exploring all aspects of the theatre together. These events target all theatre enthusiasts who do not wish to go to the theatre alone and who want to make new acquaintances or learn more about the theatre from various perspectives. The events will be held on selected dates; new participants may join at any time.

 

SALZBURG FESTIVAL & THEATER CHILDREN’S CHOIR

DO YOU LOVE TO SING?
Joining the children’s choir means experiencing the world of opera live on stage! Under the direction of Wolfgang Götz, the "FESTIVAL & THEATER CHILDREN'S CHOIR" offers the chance to enjoy music while discovering the art of theater. For younger singers, there are preparatory groups to explore music step by step. In the concert choir, vocal and musical training is developed intensively and brought to the stage in numerous concerts. New members are welcome to join throughout the year.
