Monika Pallua

Monika Pallua was born and raised in Bruneck/South Tyrol/Italy and now lives in Vienna. She completed her acting training in Milan at the Scuola d’Arte Drammatica Kuniaki Ida and at the Conservatory of Vienna (MUK, graduating in 1998).

Afterwards she joined the ensemble at Stadttheater Bremerhaven and has since worked as a freelance actress at theatres including Landestheater Coburg, Theater Factory Kiel, Neue Bühne Villach, Theaternyx Linz, Thalhof Reichenau, Theater im Container Telfs, Theaterinitiative Burgenland, Stadttheater Mödling, Merano Festival, Theater PUR, Stadttheater Bruneck, Tiroler Volksschauspiele Telfs and Waldviertler Hoftheater.

In Vienna she has appeared at Theater der Jugend, Theater m.b.H., Ensembletheater, Theater Scala, Theater Gruppe80, Kosmos Theater, Theater Drachengasse, TAG Theater, Dschungel Wien, among others.

Since summer 2021 she has been a member of the Komödienspiele Porcia ensemble. In 2024 she played Mirandolina in Peter Turrini’s “Die Wirtin”; in 2025 she followed with Dorothy in “Glorious” and Annatante in “Die feuerrote Friederike”. At the Salzburg State Theatre, she makes her debut in “Untersberg”.
