Patrizia Unger

Patrizia Unger completed her Master of Arts degree at the Theaterakademie August Everding in Munich. She won first prize at the national competition “Jugend musiziert”, received the Leonhard Grötsch Music Award, and was honoured with the Bavarian Art Promotion Prize for Performing Arts.

At the Theater in Kempten, she appeared in leading roles such as the title role in The Little Mermaid. Further engagements include Wednesday Addams in "The Addams Family" at the Landestheater Detmold, Little Red Riding Hood in "Into the Woods" at Oper Halle, Eliza Doolittle in "My Fair Lady" at Bühne Baden, and soloist in the Robert Stolz Revue at Schloss Tabor.

She was a member of the ensemble at the Salzburger Landestheater, performing numerous roles in both drama and musical theatre, including the title characters in Heidi and Peter Pan, Herta in Heldenplatz, Wilhelmine in Der neue Menoza, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Eliza Doolittle in "My Fair Lady", and Janet in "The Rocky Horror Show". Since 2021, she has portrayed Maria in "The Sound of Music" at the Salzburger Landestheater, a role with which she also made her debut at the municipal theatre in Klagenfurt.

Beginning with the 2025/26 season, Patrizia Unger will join the musical ensemble of the Landestheater Linz as a soloist.
