Aaron Röll

Aaron Röll was born in Meiningen in 1994. From 2016 to 2020, he studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. Since the 2020/21 season, Aaron Röll has been a permanent ensemble member of the Salzburg State Theatre.

Beforehand, he gained stage experience in the youth program “Junge Burg,” an orientation year for aspiring actors. During this time, he performed at the Akademietheater, the Kasino am Schwarzenbergplatz, and the Vestibül of the Vienna Burgtheater. This was followed by several guest engagements at the Wuppertal Bühnen. In 2019, he appeared in the production “Der (Vor)letzte Panda oder die Statik,” directed by Nicolas Charaux, at the Vestibül of the Burgtheater. For his performances, he was nominated for the STELLA20* Award in the category “Outstanding Performance.”

At the Salzburg State Theatre, he has already performed in numerous roles. The production “Cabaret,” directed by Andreas Gergen, was nominated for the Austrian Music Theatre Award 2022 in the category “Best Overall Musical Production.” In addition, he appeared at the Tiroler Volksschauspiele 2025 in “Romeo and Juliet,” directed by Gregor Bloeb.

Alongside his theatre work, Aaron Röll has also appeared in several film and television productions.
