Alea Hagedorn
Drama / Musical
The Hamburg-born performer was already on stage as a child at the Altonaer Theater and worked as a child voice-over artist.
During high school, she was accepted into the Youth Opera Academy of the Hamburg State Opera, received classical vocal training under Anna Maria Torkel, and appeared as Papagena in Mozart’s "The Magic Flute". At the same time, she completed the Young Talent Program at the Stage School Hamburg. She received a scholarship for further artistic training and studied voice with Thomas Maxeiner.
She then went on to study acting, dance, and singing, graduating with distinction from the AMA Munich. During her studies, she performed at the Kleines Theater Haar, at the Deutsches Theater Munich in the production of "Hair", and at the Salzburg State Theatre, where she made her debut as the roller-skating muse Terpsicore in the musical "Xanadu".
Since the 2024/25 season, she has been a permanent ensemble member. She has since appeared as the "Snow Queen", Dockdaisy in "The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui", Phantom in "The Rocky Horror Show", Asami in "Mindcraft", and Marta in the stage adaptation of the novel "Und alle so still".
In the world premiere of "Skiverliebt", a co-production with Schmidt Tivoli (directed by Andreas Gergen), she appeared as Swiss skier Regula, reaching a wider audience through the Austrian ORF broadcast.
In the 2025/26 season, she will be seen as the Diva in the musical "Priscilla" and will make her debut as Maria in "The Sound of Music", both on the main stage and in a concert version in Beijing.
