Aloysia Astari

Aloysia Astari was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and has been living in Vienna since 2002. In 2010 she completed her musical theatre training at the Conservatory Sunrise Studios in Vienna and has since gained stage experience throughout Europe.

She has performed in the Austrian premiere of “Miss Saigon” at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt, as well as in “West Side Story,” “Die Csárdásfürstin,” “The Rocky Horror Show” and “Rent” at Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen; in “The King and I,” “Mamma Mia” and “My Fair Lady” at the Mörbisch Lake Festival; and as Dance Captain in productions such as “Hair” at the Badisches Staatstheater and “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Cabaret” at the Stadttheater Konstanz. From 2018–2020, Aloysia appeared in the world premiere production of “Beat It Live!”, where she also portrayed young Michael Jackson in addition to her ensemble role. Since 2015 she has performed as a soloist in “Christmas Moments” (est. 1997), sharing the stage with artists such as Cassandra Steen and members of the Kelly Family.

Her recent engagements include productions such as “Der Schokoladensoldat” and “Venus in Seide” at Oper Graz, both of which were awarded the Operetten-Frosch by BR-Klassik.
