Ana Đorđević
Ballet
Ana Đorđević is a Berlin-based, internationally recognized solo dancer whose work spans classical ballet and contemporary performance. Born in Belgrade, she began her professional career at the Bavarian State Opera and Theater Dortmund, before becoming a soloist at Deutsche Oper am Rhein and Theater Augsburg.
Since 2016, Ana has been working as a freelance artist, performing principal and soloist roles at Deutsche Oper Berlin and Komische Oper Berlin. She has collaborated with renowned directors such as Ersan Mondtag, Rolando Villazón, Damiano Michieletto, and Tobias Kratzer. In addition, she is actively involved in Berlin’s independent dance scene, contributing to contemporary and interdisciplinary projects.
Her repertoire includes works by George Balanchine, William Forsythe, Martin Schläpfer, Christian Spuck, Jiří Kylián, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Youri Vámos, among others, as well as leading roles in "Hamlet", "Cinderella", "Romeo and Juliet", and more. Recent collaborations include Caroline Beach, Thomas Wilhelm, Rob Fordeyn, and Andreas Heise. Her latest premiere, "Baba Yaga", was presented in Oxford.
Alongside her career as a dancer, Ana is also active as a choreographer and cultural manager. Since 2024, she has served as Managing Director of the cultural association FRAMED Berlin.
From January 2026, she will join the ensemble of Salzburg State Theatre as a temporary member.
