Bianca Waechter, a Vienna native, completed her acting training in New York at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts (Stella Adler Studio of Acting), graduating with a diploma.
She made her professional debut as a company member at Theater Die Färbe (2022–2024) in Klaus Hemmerle’s production of "Merlin oder Das wüste Land" (role: among others, Ginevra), which went on to win the Baden-Württemberg Private Theatre Award. At Theater Die Färbe, she also appeared as "Célimène" in "The Misanthrope" (dir. Klaus Hemmerle), "Marie" in "Woyzeck" (dir. Andreas von Studnitz), "Janet" in "The Rocky Horror Show" (dir. Elmar F. Kühling), "Annabel" in "Snake in the Grass" (dir. Cornelia Hentschel), "Angélique" in "The Imaginary Invalid" (dir. Andreas von Studnitz), and "Josephine Krüger" in "Pension Schöller" (dir. Andreas von Studnitz). In Wandlitz near Berlin, she played "Bartholomäus I, II, III" in Eugène Ionesco’s "Impromptu or The Shepherd and His Chameleon" (dir. Michael Schweighöfer).
In 2024, Waechter founded her own theatre company, Hysterie Theater, for which she co-wrote, produced, and performed the debut piece "Wenches!". The production was invited to the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where it reached the semifinals for Theatre Village’s Star Satchel Award.
On screen, Bianca Waechter has appeared in "Vienna Blood" (MR Film, dir. Umut Dağ), "Der Weg des steirischen Panthers" (ORF III, dir. Markus Mörth), "Homicide City" (Discovery ID), and "Proxy Me" (Pacific Future Films, dir. J. Arcane).
