Dominique Brooks-Daw
Choreographie
Born in Somerset, England. Dominique began her professional training at the Elmhurst Ballet School in Surrey England, completing her Dance Diploma at the Hammond School of Dance & Performing Art Chester, England.
Since 2001 she has been working worldwide as a versatile dancer, teacher and choreographer. This year Dominique has choreographed shows including the Opening Ceremony of the European IAAPA Expo Vienna, “Xmas Misfits” Musical Premiering this December in Theatre Akzent in Vienna. Previously choreographing the “Best of Broadway” Musical Volksbühne Cologne. Her choreographies “Coming Home” and “Rhapsody in White” both received 1st place in the World Dance Championships 2023 in Croatia.
Alongside Dominique’s choreographic career lie over 20 years of Performing and teaching experience. In 2023, she works alongside the Westend cast of the musical “Dirty Dancing” in London and bringing it to life for the European tour. In 2022, she toured Germany and Switzerland coaching and preparing successful candidates for the young role Fletcher for the European tour of the “Bodyguard Musical”.
Performing credits also include “Rocky Horror Picture Show”, “Guys and Dolls”, “Saturday Night Fever”, “Falco meets Mercury”, “Dirty Dancing”, “Bodyguard” Musical Cologne and Vienna. Aside from Musicals Dominique toured for many years as a solo dancer with singer Andrea Berg on her Arena Tours and with Peter Maffay’s “Tabalouga” Production. She also worked on various TV shows with world renowned artists including Andrea Bocelli, Robbie Williams, Anastasia and Yvonne Catterfeld. Acting credits also include her role as Kate in RTL’s “Alles was zählt”. Tap dance has always been a big part of Dominique’s career. Performing many years with the touring Tap Company Tap-Act, and percussion show “Beats and Noises”. These years heavily influencing her choreographic style through the use of rhythm.
