Elisabeth Weiß

Stage Design

Elisabeth Weiß was born in East Berlin in 1984. In 2011, she completed her studies in Stage and Costume Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden. During and after her studies, she worked as an assistant at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz, the Maxim Gorki Theater, and Theater Basel. She also created numerous projects with the German-French company Epik Hotel in France.

Since then, she has worked as a stage and costume designer in Germany, France, and Austria with directors such as Pedro Martins Beja, Milena Michalek, Elsa Sophie Jach, Felix Hafner, Anna Marboe, and Claudia Bossard. Her work has taken her to Schauspielhaus Wien, Kosmos Theater Wien, Staatstheater Darmstadt, Volkstheater Wien, Volkstheater München, Schauspielhaus Graz, and Deutsches Theater Berlin.
