Felix Pacher
Opera
The Viennese bass Felix Pacher made his debut this year at the Bayreuth Festival as the Third Noble in "Lohengrin" under the baton of Christian Thielemann. This followed his recent successes as Don Alfonso in W. A. Mozart’s "Così fan tutte" at the Croatian National Theatre Zagreb and in J. S. Bach’s "Easter Oratorio" at the Vienna Musikverein. In the past season, Felix Pacher appeared as Masetto ("Don Giovanni", W. A. Mozart) at the Opera Summer Wien Belvedere, as Daland (children’s version of R. Wagner’s "The Flying Dutchman") at the Vienna State Opera, and as Masetto and the Commendatore ("Don Giovanni", W. A. Mozart) with the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra.
In 2022, he made his debut at the Vienna State Opera in the title role of Ludger Vollmer’s youth opera "Tschick", for which he was awarded the Stella23 Prize of ASSITEJ Austria for Outstanding Performance in the following year. That same year, he also won Elīna Garanča’s competition "ZukunftsStimmen". As a concert singer, Felix Pacher has performed in significant works of the sacred repertoire, including Handel’s "Messiah", Haydn’s "The Creation", Mozart’s "Requiem", and the role of Jesus in Bach’s "St. Matthew Passion".
He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), where he is currently pursuing his Master’s studies with KS Angelika Kirchschlager and Jörg Schneider.
