Flora Riezinger

Dramaturg

Flora Riezinger was born in 1995 and grew up in Salzburg. She studied Theatre, Film and Media Studies as well as Musicology at the University of Vienna.

During her studies, she worked as an assistant and intern in directing and dramaturgy, among others at the Salzburg Landestheater, at Theater in der Josefstadt ("Auslöschung" & premiere of Ödön von Horváth’s "Niemand"), at Volkstheater Wien ("Who Killed My Father" & premiere of David Schalko’s "Schwere Knochen"), at MUK Vienna ("Idomeneo"), at the Salzburg Festival, at Schauspiel Köln (premiere of Doğan Akhanlı’s "Arrest in Granada") and at the Münchner Kammerspiele (premiere of Sivan Ben Yishai’s "Like Lovers Do").
"Like Lovers Do" was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen in 2022.

In summer 2022, she graduated from the dramaturgy program at the Theaterakademie August Everding in Munich.
From 2022 to 2025, she worked as a dramaturge at the Junges Nationaltheater Mannheim.
"Berlin Alexanderplatz" is her second production at the Salzburger Landestheater, after "Die Argonauten", which she has worked on as dramaturge.
