Guilherme Tomaselli
Ballet Repetiteur / Musical Assistant
The Brazilian pianist Guilherme Tomaselli studied piano at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, among others with Dr Luiz Senise and Álvaro Guimarães, and completed his studies with a Master’s degree. His master’s thesis focused on the interaction between pianist and ballet ensemble.
Throughout his career, Guilherme Tomaselli has performed as a soloist at some of Brazil’s most important concert halls and has received several prizes at piano competitions. He is the founder and director of PianoStudio – School of Music in Rio de Janeiro.
From 2011 to 2014, he also taught at the Federal Fluminense University. In the field of ballet music, he worked as a pianist at the Ballet School of the Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, where he also performed as a soloist in productions of both classical and contemporary dance.
Since the beginning of the 2020/2021 season, Guilherme Tomaselli has been Ballet Répétiteur and Musical Assistant at the Salzburg Landestheater.
