Jakob Bogensperger
Stage Lighting Design
Jakob Bogensperger completed his training as a master of stage lighting at the Kammerspiele der Josefstadt and the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna, where he also worked as a lighting designer. Further engagements took him to Oper Frankfurt, Theater Rabenhof, the Carinthian Summer Festival in Villach, Oper Graz, Kampnagel Theater Hamburg, Biennale di Danza in Venice, Tirol Festival Erl, Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, and the Heidenheim Opera Festival. Each year, he collaborates with the Salzburg Festival.
He has been responsible for lighting designs alongside Ayal Dadon, Matteo Carvone, Erna Ómarsdóttir & Halla Ólafsdóttir, Karl Alfred Schreiner, Emanuele Soavi, Christina Tscharyiski, Lukas Wachernig, and Christina Gegenbauer, and has overseen guest performances for Marco Goecke (lighting: Udo Haberland) on several occasions.
