Julia Herrnböck

Julia Herrnböck is a journalist and works at the nonprofit newsroom Dossier, based in Vienna. Since 2024, she has been supporting the Austrian UNESCO Commission in building the Media Diversity Platform. Previously, she served on the board of Reporters Without Borders. Julia has written for, among others, Der Standard, NZZ.at, taz, and Der Spiegel, and was the host of the podcast series “Ganz offen gesagt.” Most recently, she worked at the Salzburger Nachrichten as chief of staff.
