Manuel Lauerer
Manuel Lauerer has been regularly working as a répétiteur for opera and musical productions at the Salzburg State Theatre for several years and has served as musical director for world premieres such as “Das fliegende Klassenzimmer”, “Der Lauf des Lebens”, and “Peter Pan” in the theatre tent in 2022. He frequently collaborates with the Mozarteum Orchestra and the theatre’s band as a pianist and piano conductor.
Outside Salzburg, Manuel Lauerer conducted in 2023 as Assistant Music Director at the Deutsches Theater Munich, leading the production of “Hair” from the piano. In summer 2025, the rising musician will make his orchestral debut with the Bodensee Philharmonic in Konstanz as assistant to Gabriel Venzago, conducting “The Threepenny Opera”.
In the 2025/26 season, Manuel Lauerer and Wolfgang Götz will jointly be responsible for the musical production “Priscilla”.
