Manuel Ramminger
Theatre Educator
Manuel Ramminger was born in Graz and studied acting in Salzburg, as well as Social Work & Management, focusing his bachelor's thesis on theatre education, in Graz.
During his year abroad in Spain, he joined the Spanish theatre group "Escena Erasmus", performed in Valencia, and led acting workshops for children and adolescents. In Spain, he also regularly attended directing seminars with Marcelo Díaz.
In Salzburg, he performed in children’s and youth theatre productions at the Schauspielhaus alongside his studies. His passion for theatre, however, extends beyond the stage, particularly as a theatre educator: he has led workshops during holiday camps, worked as an intern at the Burgtheater Studio in Vienna, participated in training at the Theaterwerkstatt Heidelberg, and most recently contributed to the Art & Mediation team at Theater und Orchester Heidelberg.
From 2023 to 2025, Manuel Ramminger worked as a theatre educator at the Junge Theater Heidelberg. He led two play clubs, was part of the team organizing and running festivals, and in his educational work focused on reaching people who had had little previous contact with theatre.
Since the 2025/26 season, Manuel Ramminger has been a theatre educator at the Salzburg State Theatre.
