Marina Petkov

Musical

Marina Petkov is a Viennese performer and completed her training at the State Opera Ballet School and the Performing Academy. She gained her first stage experience at the State Opera, among others.

After receiving her stage qualification in 2014, she went on to perform in productions such as „Flashdance“ in Amstetten, Crissy in „Hair“ at the Staatstheater Darmstadt, Bebe in „A Chorus Line“ at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt, „Sugar“ at the Thunerseespiele, and at Bühne Baden the roles of Penny Pingleton in „Hairspray“ and Tinkerbell in „Peter Pan“. For the latter, she was nominated for the Austrian Music Theater Award as Best Supporting Actress. Further engagements followed, including „I Am From Austria“, „Footloose“, „West Side Story“, „Jesus Christ Superstar“, „We Are Musical“, „Lady Bess“, Cha Cha in „Grease“, Moni Moorhuhn in „Honk!“, cover Mrs. Brill in „Mary Poppins“, Regina in „Rock of Ages“, Klärchen in „The White Horse Inn“, and Lois Lane/Bianca in „Kiss Me, Kate“ at Bühne Baden.
