The mezzo-soprano Marzia Marzo, prizewinner of several vocal competitions including the Josep Mirabent i Magrans Competition in Barcelona and AsLiCo in Como, made her stage debut in 2012 as Susanna in „Le nozze di Figaro“.

From the 2014/2015 season until July 2016, she was a member of the Opera Studio of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, where she sang roles such as Isolier in „Le comte Ory“, Zaida in „Il turco in Italia“, and Nancy in „Albert Herring“.

Following her engagement at the Opera Studio, she made her debut in October 2016 as Baronessa Aspasia in „La pietra del paragone“ at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari. In July 2017, she appeared as Maddalena in „Il viaggio a Reims“ at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.

Active as a concert singer as well, she was invited to perform at the renowned Ball der Sterne in 2019 at the Deutsches Theater Munich.

From the 2017/2018 season until February 2023, Marzia Marzo was a permanent ensemble member of the Mainfranken Theatre Würzburg, where she appeared in roles including Dorabella („Così fan tutte“), Rosina („Il barbiere di Siviglia“), the Composer („Ariadne auf Naxos“), Hänsel („Hansel und Gretel“), Romeo („I Capuleti e i Montecchi“), Olga („Eugene Onegin“), and Muse/Niklausse („The Tales of Hoffmann“).

Since 2024, she has been working as a freelance singer, appearing among others as Angelina in „La Cenerentola“ at the Teatro Duse Bologna. In 2025, she performed the role of Charlotte in „Werther“ at Theater and Orchestra Heidelberg and sang the Second Maid in Elektra at the Fondazione Arena di Verona.

In the current 2025/2026 season, she appears as Sesto in „Giulio Cesare“ at the Salzburg State Theatre and as Venere in „Le nozze di Teti“ at the Monteverdi Festival in Cremona.
