Maximilian Paier

Maximilian Paier was born in Vienna in 1996. As part of the Junges Ensemble Hörbiger (JÖH) and co-founder of the theatre group kollekTief, he gained stage experience during his school years. After a memorial service year in Berlin at the German Resistance Memorial Centre, he studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin from 2016 to 2020. During his studies, he worked at the Deutsches Theater Berlin with Kristo Šagor and at the Berliner Ensemble with David Bösch and Veit Schubert.

Since the 2020/21 season, Maximilian Paier has been a member of the Salzburg State Theatre ensemble, where he has appeared in roles such as Arturo Ui, Lopachin, Titus Feuerfuchs, Jason and Christian Buddenbrook.
