Axel Meinhardt
Drama
Axel Meinhardt studied at the Dunja Lock Acting School and also attended a master class with Hanna Ludwig at Mozarteum University Salzburg.
Alongside television work, he has appeared in theatre productions in Munich, at Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, Théâtre Luxembourg, Stadttheater Ingolstadt, Stadttheater Biel/Solothurn, and the Domstufen-Festspiele in Erfurt, as well as in the musical “Ludwig II” in Füssen.
Since the 2011/2012 season, he has been a member of the ensemble at the Salzburg Landestheater. His appearances have included “Monty Python’s Spamalot”, “La Bohème”, “Hotel Europa”, “Dry Powder” and “Much Ado About Nothing”. He has also delighted audiences as Max in “The Sound of Music”, Sigmund Freud in “Der Trafikant”, the animal tamer in “The Force of Habit”, Master Eder in “Pumuckl” and the Prime Minister in “Wiener Blut”.
