Melanie Maderegger

Melanie Maderegger gained her first stage experience in childhood as a member of the Salzburg Festival and Theatre Children’s Choir. During this time at the Salzburg Landestheater, she performed solo parts in musicals and operas, including “Annie, Meine Stille Nacht” and “The Magic Flute.”
In 2026, she completed her musical theatre studies at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding in Munich, graduating with a Master of Arts. She was a scholarship holder of Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Munich and received the Special Prize of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz at the MUT Competition in 2023.
During her studies, she appeared at the Salzburg Landestheater in “Shakespeare im Park – Golden Lads & Girls.” She performed in “Once upon a Mattress” at the Prinzregententheater in Munich and played Sister Mary Lichter in “Sister Act” at the Staatstheater Augsburg. In autumn 2024, she took on the role of Cäcilia Weber in “MOZART!”, and in May 2025 she played Sarah in “The Toxic Avenger” at the Silbersaal of the Deutsches Theater Munich. She reprised this role in January 2026 at the Semperoper Dresden. In her university graduation production “The Addams Family,” she played Wednesday Addams at the Prinzregententheater.
This season she will appear as Puck in “Ballhaus – A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and as the cat Rebecca in “Mondsüchtig” at the Salzburg Landestheater.
