Michael Lindner
Staging
Michael Lindner is a freelance stage and costume designer. After studying at HS Hannover, he worked as an assistant at the State Theatres of Kassel and Hannover before becoming head of design as well as resident stage and costume designer at Theatre Regensburg. Since 2022 he has been working exclusively as a freelancer.
He has created numerous productions for opera, musical, drama and dance, with engagements at the State Theatres of Saarbrücken, Kassel and Meiningen, Schauspiel Kiel, Opera Magdeburg, Landestheater Niederösterreich St. Pölten and the Gärtnerplatz State Theatre in Munich. Michael Lindner lives in Vienna.
“Das kleine Gespenst” and “Priscilla – Queen of the Desert” mark his first collaborations with the Salzburg State Theatre.
