The Vienna-based Korean baritone Minsoo Ahn has already appeared in a wide range of leading roles, including Don Profondo in Rossini’s "Il viaggio a Reims" at the MuTh concert hall of the Vienna Boys’ Choir, Nick Shadow in Stravinsky’s "The Rake’s Progress" at Theater Akzent, Don Alfonso in Mozart’s "Così fan tutte" at the Wiener Konzerthaus (2016), Figaro in Mozart’s "Le nozze di Figaro" at the Wiener Konzerthaus (2017), the Director in Wilhelm Grosz’s "Achtung, Aufnahme!" at the ORF Radio Kulturhaus (2018), Leporello in Mozart’s "Don Giovanni" at Oper in der Krypta in Vienna (2021–2022), the First Nazarene in Strauss’s "Salome" at Daegu Opera House in South Korea (2023), Alfio and Tonio in "Cavalleria rusticana" and "Pagliacci" at the Moravian Theatre in Olomouc (2023–2024), and Haly in Rossini’s "L’italiana in Algeri" at Norrlandsoperan in Umeå, Sweden.

In addition to his opera engagements, Minsoo Ahn has appeared as a guest artist at the Wiener Konzerthaus, Odeon Theater Salzburg, Musikverein Graz, Brucknerhaus Linz, and in opera projects of the Vienna Philharmonic Summer Academy. He has collaborated with renowned orchestras including the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, the Thuringia Philharmonic, the orchestra of the Vienna Philharmonic Summer Academy, and the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic.

Minsoo Ahn is a multiple prizewinner at prestigious competitions, among them the Fidelio Competition in Vienna, the 16th Osaka International Music Competition (Opera category), the International Giangiacomo Guelfi Singing Competition in Bolzano, the International Johannes Brahms Competition in Pörtschach, and the Gabriela Beňačková International Singing Competition in Jihlava, Czech Republic.
