Nikola Jaritz-Rudle

Drama

Nikola Jaritz-Rudle was born in 1992 near Vienna as the daughter of a dancer and a cabaret artist.

Unable to decide between a career as a brain surgeon, swimming pool owner, or Tibetan freedom fighter, she ultimately found that there was no way around the theatre. At the age of 16, she left school and began her acting training at the Vienna Conservatory.

She appeared in two television films, including “Meine Tochter nicht” (directed by Wolfgang Murnberger), and after completing her bachelor’s degree, she spent one year as a member of the ensemble at the Tyrolean State Theatre. During the 2014/2015 season, she was engaged at Theater der Jugend Vienna in “The Three Musketeers” (directed by Michael Schachermaier). Her first engagement at the Salzburg State Theatre was in Arthur Schnitzler’s “Anatol” during the 2014/2015 season.

Since the 2015/2016 season, Nikola Jaritz-Rudle has been a member of the Salzburg State Theatre’s acting ensemble. She has since appeared in numerous productions, including Julia in “Romeo and Juliet”, the young Sabeth in “Homo Faber”, Gretchen in “Faust”, “#Ersthelfer #Firstaid”, “The Invention of Democracy – The Oresteia”, “Und alle so still”, “Odyssey”, Mephisto in “Faust²”, and “Triage”.
