Oliver Arno

Oliver Arno, born in Bregenz, completed a law degree after finishing high school, while simultaneously attending a four-year musical theatre program at the renowned Conservatory of the City of Vienna (today: MUK Vienna).

Arno has performed on more than 100 stages in German-speaking countries, including in “Elisabeth” (as Death and Rudolf), “Les Misérables” (Marius), “Sunset Boulevard” (Joe Gillis), “The Phantom of the Opera” (Raoul), “Love Never Dies” (Raoul), “Miss Saigon” (Chris), “Mamma Mia” (Sam), “Hair” (Claude), “Kiss Me, Kate” (Petruchio), “Evita” (Magaldi), “The Rocky Horror Show” (Rocky), “I Am From Austria” (Josi Edler), and many more.

For his portrayal of Werther in “LOTTE – ein Wetzlarer Musical,” he was nominated for the 2015 German Musical Theatre Award in the category “Best Leading Actor.” In addition to his work as a performer, he writes his own German-language songs. In 2017, he was among the top 30 songwriters of the year at the Austrian Amadeus Award and has since released several songs that received radio airplay.
