Quinn Roy
Ballet
Quinn Roy is from Canada and trained at the National Ballet School of Canada in Toronto. He completed his artistic training in 2018/19 at the European School of Ballet in Amsterdam under the direction of Jean-Yves Esquerre.
His first professional engagement took him to the Czech National Ballet in Brno, where he was a permanent member of the ensemble from 2019 to 2024. During this time, he danced in works by George Balanchine, Jiří Kylián, Johan Inger, Nacho Duato, Edward Clug and Valentina Turcu, as well as in classical productions such as “Swan Lake”, “La Bayadère” and “The Nutcracker”.
At the beginning of the 2024/2025 season, Quinn Roy joined the ballet ensemble of Salzburger Landestheater. During his first season, he appeared in solo roles as Alejandro Arias in “Frida’s World” and “Bossa Nova”. The following season, he took on both leading male roles, the Torero and Don José, in Valentina Turcu’s “Carmen” and also appeared in all other productions in the repertoire.
