Stage and Costume Design

Sam Beklik is a multidisciplinary artist working across scenography, costume design, photography, installation, and performance. He began his artistic training studying photography at MTF Tehran and expanded his skills at the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts Salzburg. He studied stage and costume design, film, and exhibition architecture at the Mozarteum University Salzburg, graduating with his diploma project XYRA — a spatial design inspired by Sarah Kane’s Phaedra’s Love.

As a freelance designer, Sam Beklik works in diverse creative fields, including exhibition design at MuseumsQuartier Vienna, and as a stage and costume designer at renowned theaters such as the Burgtheater Vienna, Schauspielhaus Zurich, Staatstheater Nuremberg, Staatstheater Mainz, Oldenburg State Theatre, and Theater and Orchestra Heidelberg.
