Tetiana Dyiu

The Ukrainian soprano began her musical training as a violinist, followed by a Master’s degree in solo voice at the Lviv National Music Academy. From 2009 to 2011, she performed several times as a soloist with the Lviv Philharmonic. In 2013, Tetiana Dyiu was a finalist in the International Vocal Competition for Sacred Music "cantateBach" of the Greifswald Bach Week. Her concert engagements have taken her to Poland, Ukraine and Austria, among other countries.

After completing her studies in 2012, she moved to Vienna, where she also performed as a soloist with the Arnold Schoenberg Choir. From 2015 to 2018, Tetiana Dyiu was a scholarship holder of the Choir Academy of the Vienna State Opera. She subsequently studied Baroque singing at the University Mozarteum Salzburg and the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel, where she worked with Ulrike Hoffbauer and Andreas Scholl, completing her studies in 2021.

In 2019, among other engagements, she performed the role of Erato in Handel’s opera "Terpsichore" in Salzburg, Bremen, Potsdam and London. In 2021, she performed with the Vienna State Opera Chorus Association as part of the Salzburg Festival. Since 2020, Tetiana Dyiu has been a member of the chorus at Salzburger Landestheater.
