Young Theatre 2025/2026
Alarm goes off — time to get up and hit the shower. The electric toothbrush? Dead battery. And my favorite sweater? Still in the wash. Radio on, a quick dash to the fridge. Bread in the toaster, smoothie whirring. A quick glance at my phone to check the schedule — and off we go!
Even before we’ve properly started our day, we’ve already used countless machines and technical devices. Life without their support seems almost unimaginable. But then there are those days when every machine seems to be jinxed and our carefully planned routine falls apart.
Take the little ghost, for example, whose life is turned upside down by a misadjusted clock tower. And if it weren’t for the merciless checkout machine at the supermarket and the nasty card reader that never shows enough funds, things would be easier for Emin and his mother too. Machines, after all, have no feelings — they just do what they’re programmed to do. Lotte also learns this the hard way when she pours her heart out to the artificial intelligence KIM — and ends up losing it to her.
Tiger and Bear show us that life without machines can be just as good — especially with a true friend. And the little mole? He gets where he wants to go by following his curiosity. Let’s explore together what makes us humans so special and find out whether machines might have feelings after all, or if they are simply anonymous tools.
