The season programme of the musical division showcases two new musicals and a popular evergreen: The musical “Priscilla – Queen of the Desert” is based on an Australian hit movie and tells the heart-warming story of a road trip through the Australian desert, bringing a slew of 80s dancefloor hits to the stage. The unsurpassable humour of the comedy group Monty Python guarantees great entertainment in “Not the Messiah”, a musical version of the movie “Life of Brian” in the form of a comic oratory. And, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the movie “The Sound of Music”, an international gala night will be held at the Felsenreitschule in collaboration with SalzburgerLand Tourismus. Added to that will be a series of performances of our own successful production at the Salzburg State Theatre. To top it all off, there will be a picnic at the park featuring the most beautiful songs and scenes from the musical.
