THEATRE INSIDE
Synopsis
How do you become an actor? How often does the ballet train? How many costumes are stored in the wardrobe department? How is a stage set created? Who decides what gets performed?
If questions like these are on your mind, join THEATRE INSIDE and discover the full spectrum of the theatre world!
Every month we offer theatre enthusiasts exciting insights into the many different departments of the Salzburg State Theatre. Get to know not only a wide range of professions and activities but also the experts behind them.
Our interactive workshops take place on selected Mondays from 5:30–7:30 pm at various venues of the Salzburg State Theatre. Around two weeks before each workshop, we’ll announce the theme, an age recommendation, and the exact location. You can join at any time, but places are limited – so please register in advance (from 10 days before) via email: jungesland@salzburger-landestheater.at
The participation fee is €3 for children and young people, €5 for adults.
We look forward to your curiosity and your questions!
Workshop on Monday, March 9, 2026:
Letters become words. Words become sentences. Sentences become stories.
Are you already writing – or finally want to start? Do you want to spark your creativity and develop your own theatre texts? Whether you’re working on your novel, have already written your first play, or haven’t dared to face a blank page yet:
Author, director, and slam poet Anna Lukasser-Weitlaner will show you how to overcome writer’s block, generate ideas, and develop your own style. She will give insights into her creative process and share how her plays and poetry slams come to life.
Write the first sentence. The rest will follow.
