Synopsis

For the FREISPIEL festival at the Salzburg State Theatre, the Berlin University of the Arts asked the students of its “Creative Writing for the Stage” programme to study Friedrich Schiller’s text “The Theatre Considered as a Moral Institution” and to apply its findings to contemporary constellations. As with all festival contributions, this performance concept thrives on its open workshop character, enabling a spontaneous experience of new dramatic texts.

Sarah Henker will stage the world premiere of the new texts at the FREISPIEL festival.
