In reality, the opposite is true: for centuries, men have danced to assert their social standing and impress others. Dancing, fencing, and horseback riding were once considered the key virtues of a gentleman. Louis XIV earned the title “Sun King” thanks to his performance in a ballet. Legends like Nureyev and Baryshnikov thrilled audiences around the world.
