Iberian Dance Fever – The Creative Team in Conversation

"Carmen" and "Boléro" are among the great classics of dance theater and continue to captivate audiences worldwide as a double bill. Complemented by the new creation Rosa by Reginaldo Oliveira, this evening of ballet brings three works filled with Spanish flair to the stage.

In conversation, rehearsal director Tamás Darai shares the perspective of internationally acclaimed choreographer Valentina Turcu on the character of Carmen and her inner world. Darai himself has appeared on stage in the past as Don José. Korean choreographer Yonggeol Kim speaks about his artistic approach to Maurice Ravel’s legendary "Boléro" and what sets his interpretation apart from others.

Meet these two fascinating artists ahead of the premiere and enjoy an exclusive first look, as well as the chance for a personal exchange with them.
