International Ballet Gala

The International Ballet Gala, originally founded by Peter Breuer, has a long-standing tradition and annually marks one of the highlights of the Salzburg theater season. This year, the current ballet leadership team, Reginaldo Oliveira and Armin Frauenschuh, invite you once again. Ballet stars from renowned international companies will join dancers from the Salzburg ensemble for an exceptional evening of dance, proving that Salzburg is not only a city of opera and theater but also a city of ballet. Confirmed participants include representatives from the Vienna State Ballet, Bavarian State Opera, Berlin State Ballet, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Budapest State Opera, Croatian National Ballet Zagreb, Opéra National du Capitole de Toulouse, Béjart Ballet Lausanne, and Slovenian National Ballet Maribor.

As a traditional charity event, all guests waive their fees in favor of charitable organizations, with part of the proceeds benefiting good causes.

Due to high demand, the gala will be held on two dates this year. Early reservations are recommended, as ballet and dance enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating this event.
