Curtains up for sparkle and heartfelt moments!

Ready for the most dazzling party of the winter? With "Priscilla – Queen of the Desert", the Salzburg Landestheater is turning up the heat during the cold months! From December 6, 2025, musical fans can look forward to being catapulted back to the disco era with the greatest hits of the ’70s and ’80s. Ramesh Nair makes his directorial debut at the Landestheater, bringing a cult musical to Salzburg together with Michael Lindner (set design) and Adam Nee (costumes).

In the Repertoire for the Pre-Christmas Season

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, the Salzburg State Theatre transforms into a colorful panorama of diverse theatrical arts. From the lively Mozart opera “Don Giovanni” to the plays “Homo faber” and “Triage”, as well as the all-time favorite “The Sound of Music”, there is something for every theatre fan. Young audiences can also look forward to it, as “The Little Ghost” returns to the stage from December 8.
